Information on

TRVB 111 describes smoke extraction in stairwells. Smoke extractors for stairwells in accordance with this guideline must undergo a final inspection by an authorized expert after completion.

The smoke extractor for stairwells must be serviced regularly by a specialist company at least every 2 years.

If the manufacturer specifies shorter maintenance intervals, these must be adhered to.

With an expert from TÜV AUSTRIA, you have the guarantee that the smoke vent works and is not overridden by a rain or wind sensor and has therefore been installed in accordance with the guidelines.
